Questions owners actually ask
FAQ
What shows up in the free brief?
A local snapshot for your city and ZIP, three captions you can paste to Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business Profile, and one labeled sponsor placement. The free issue is funded by that sponsor, not by your data.
What does Full Kit add for $29 a month?
A newsletter draft, one practice tip, two extra captions, audience suggestions, and a dashboard history of past weeks. Growth at $49 and Multi-location at $99 are later plans. They are not for sale in this release.
Do you post to my accounts?
No. You copy the lines you like and post them yourself. That keeps the product low-risk and keeps you in charge of what goes out under your name.
Is this only for restaurants?
No. Local Pulse Weekly is for any small local business: salons, home services, studios, clinics, boutiques, trades, and professional offices. Restaurants can subscribe. Local Plate Weekly is the sister product built only for dining rooms.
Where do the local notes come from?
This release uses a clearly labeled draft generator: seasonal prompts for your type of business and your city, not live event listings. A later version will use web search and event sources, cache them by ZIP and week, and refuse to invent events, phone numbers, or addresses.
What do sponsors receive?
One exclusive, labeled placement in an issue, plus aggregate open counts when mail is sending. Sponsors do not receive subscriber names, emails, cities, or profiles.
When does the email arrive?
Monday morning, aimed at 6:00 America/Chicago. The scheduled job is a guarded endpoint that dry-runs unless it is explicitly told to send. Your dashboard has the draft as soon as you sign up, even before mail is connected.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel the Full Kit in the Stripe customer portal or by writing hello@localpulseweekly.com and you return to the free brief. Unsubscribe from the email and the Monday send stops.
